There’s 104 days of summer vacation.

Standard

My favorite cartoon of late is Phineas and Ferb. “But Rob, aren’t you a little old to be watching cartoons?” Yes, yes I am, I get that a lot. That’s not the point. Hey, where’s Perry? Every day these two boys find some way to do something productive with their time during the summer. The only time they played a video game was when they made a live action video game. The other thing that stands out to me about what they do everyday, is that everything they do is to help some one else. The point of that day’s project is to help some one, and they actually think its fun! Silly kids. But wait, isn’t Work Camp fun? Don’t we have fun when we have work days at the building, even when its cleaning out the refrigerator that took on its own life? What makes that different from mowing your own lawn, or helping out around the house? Or, just cleaning up after yourself. I know what you are going to say, you are going to say that Phineas and Ferb always have something strange come and clean up the messes they make. And to that I say not always. I like this cartoon because the attitude of these two kids is amazing. They are helpful, accepting of everyone, and always look to include others no matter what happens. How are they this way? No, its not because they are cartoons. Its because they choose to be that way. So, I know what we are going to do today! Become the Target.
